According to Brandon Jenner’s new memoir, his dad, Caitlyn Jenner was almost totally absent from his life while growing up. Apparently, he did not manage to see the transgender icon before the age of 25 more than a total of six times!

As fans know, Caitlyn has procreated with three women, having two kids with each!

It sounds like, because of that, some of them did not get to spend as much time with their dad growing up as others.

Brandon, specifically, says he might have seen him the least throughout his childhood.

His brand new tell all titled To Me, He Was Just Dad, details that following Caitlyn – then Bruce – and Linda Thompson’s divorce back in 1986, Brandon did not get to see his dad more than half a dozen times.

Furthermore, after he married Kris Jenner – then Kardashian – the visits became even fewer and further in between!

Brandon writes that ‘I am my mother’s first kid and my father’s third. My half brother Burt and my half sister Casey lived with their mother. My younger brother Brody, mother, father, and I lived in a wooden craftsman house in Malibu, one of the very first built. But I do not have many memories from before my parents split and my father moved out. I was 4-years-old at the time.’

‘They got divorced because my father decided to start transitioning to female. A few years after my parents’ divorce, Dad decided it wasn’t the right time to transition and had many of the surgeries reversed. After that, his relationship with my mother just grew more hostile.’

After all, it had taken her a long time to get used to the idea that Bruce wanted to transition and that is why they could no longer be together.

But then, Bruce decided not to do it at the time and she felt confused and hurt.

Bruce’s original reasoning for getting a divorce totally fell apart when the transition from male to female did not happen and a relationship with Kris started instead!

‘The effect of my parents’ souring relationship was that I didn’t see my father more than half a dozen times between the ages of 8 and 25,’ Brandon wrote, explaining that even when they did meet, it was mostly just to take family holiday cards so it all felt like a photo-op.
